The magic of Christmas arrived last week with three days of merriment at Tenterden's Christmas Market...

Tenterden's  Christmas Market runs over three days from Friday 23rd November to Sunday 25th November - there will be over 80 stalls showcasing local produce, crafts, festive goods and beautiful gifts with children's rides and entertainment.

On Sunday 11th November thousands of memorial services were taking place honouring the bravery, heroic efforts and sacrifices that were made in the past wars. 

Having made my way to the Rye Bonfire Night and Fireworks on Saturday, the monsoon-like conditions did nothing to dampen the atmosphere of the crowds attending this hugely popular event. 

As is the tradition on an autumnal weekend in October, the Folk Festival was well underway in Tenterden with the High Street being lined with an array of stalls, crafts and exhibitions.
