Having been a food festival fan for many years, it was exciting to visit Hole Park and celebrate the 'world of chillies'. There were displays of colourful and eye-watering shapes and sizes from around the globe. I love those wonderful fiery beauties, however some were simply too hot to handle!
From the spiciest chilli to the various sauces, jams and tasty chutney - those I purchased are to be added to my recipes for experiments in the safety of my own home!
Finally to the beer and music, perched on a hay bale with my foot tapping, it was the Peroni that finally caught my eye - a much needed refreshing end to the day.
